Learning objectives

The summer school is aimed at learning the fundamentals and the recent advances of multivariated statistics to sensory analysis and consumer science. It will provide the appropriate techniques to analise sensory data set, and consumer preference data set. It will also provide the appropriate knowledge of the models used in the experimental auction literature for the sensory data analysis. Results interpretation will be discussed and exercises on appropriate softwares will be included.

Target group and prerequisites for admission

The course is open to industrial researchers, consultants, graduate students, PhD students, academics, and other practitioners, with a master degree in agriculture, food science and technology, food chemistry, economics, statistics, or equivalent degrees.
